“The Simpsons” is one of the best-loved sitcoms of all time, and the network’s latest episode has a big fan.
The latest episode of the popular sitcom features a brand-new story line that revolves around a robot who looks exactly like the famous cartoon character Homer.
The new story line centers around a man who goes into hiding after discovering his wife and young son had gone missing.
Homer and Lisa find themselves stranded on a deserted island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, and it’s up to them to get back to their family before they have to face the consequences of their actions.
“The Homer Simpson Story” has been renewed for a fourth season.
“I’m glad they’re renewing this, because it’s really a great story, and I think that’s going to keep people watching for a long time,” said Seth MacFarlane, creator and star of “The West Wing,” “The Office” and “Family Guy.”
“And they’ve done a really good job, especially on the theme song.
It’s so catchy, so the kids can really relate to it, and they really like it.
I think it’s a really, really cool story.
I’m really excited about it.”
The Simpsons is one a number of cable networks have shown renewed interest in, including ABC, NBC, Fox and CBS.
“Golf Story” is being renewed for one more season for a total of six seasons, Fox announced Tuesday.
The network said the decision to keep the show alive came about after the show’s producers learned of its popularity.
“It’s a great show, but you can tell it’s not going anywhere anytime soon,” the network said in a statement.
“Golf and the Simpson family are a perfect example of how people respond to great TV shows,” ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said in the statement.
“Fans around the world continue to love and share the show.
We’re thrilled to keep ‘Golf’ on air and look forward to welcoming the Simpsons back to our schedules next year.”
The Simpson family, which has been in syndication since 1993, has been around for more than 40 years.
The Simpsons has been airing on ABC for nearly 15 years, airing from late 2005 to early 2011.
